📋 Description

• Own the self-serve journey end-to-end, spanning signup, trial, activation, and monetization • Use product usage and event data to identify high-impact growth opportunities and run continuous test-and-learn cycles across the funnel • Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data to scope, sequence, and ship experiments, surfacing dependencies early • Define success metrics and connect roadmap decisions to customer and revenue outcomes • Operate with a small, autonomous team, owning the roadmap and its outcomes • Improve signup, trial, and activation experiences to grow GitLab’s customer base

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in product management, ideally owning a self-serve or product-led growth funnel end-to-end • Strong technical understanding of how software is built, packaged, deployed, and operated • Strong analytical skills and SQL proficiency • Hypothesis-driven approach to product decisions • Well versed in experimentation and A/B testing, with a track record of shipping frequent, measurable product improvements • Comfortable working directly with production usage and event data • Highly independent and pragmatic, with a strong bias for action • Excellent written and spoken English • Comfort working asynchronously in a distributed team • Preferred: experience with acquisition loops, activation loops, and product-qualified leads (PQLs) • Preferred: prior experience at a Product-Led Growth company • Preferred: experience with GitLab, Git, or Git workflows • Preferred: experience building developer tools or DevOps products • Preferred: experience engaging with customers in a B2B setting
