📋 Description

• Translate and edit vital records, legal documents, official certificates, and academic transcripts for a U.S. government client • Perform Nepali-to-English or English-to-Nepali translation and/or editing • Work remotely on an ongoing basis as a freelance independent contractor • Accept assignments as needed and meet one-to-two-day deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen based in the USA • Native speaker of Nepali and near-native English • Bachelor’s degree in translation or an equivalent qualification • Minimum of two to five years of proven experience as a translator and/or editor • Reliable, able to meet deadlines, and highly productive • Team player with excellent communication skills • Must be equipped with up-to-date Windows software • Excellent formatting skills • Comfortable with one-to-two-day deadlines • Able to provide per-word rates for either translation, editing, or both • Willing to accept assignments as needed • Must be willing to undergo a Tier 1 background investigation, including fingerprinting
