📋 Description

• Attend university classes remotely as a Note Taker or Captioner • Type information on a laptop during university lectures, tutorials, and labs • Create verbatim transcriptions of instructor speech using Messenger Pigeon • Record key lecture information as organized study aids with major topics and key points as headings • Help students overcome barriers in class and contribute to equitable access to education

🎯 Requirements

• Completed post secondary education or about to graduate • Studied and excelled in a variety of subjects, including Math, English, Sciences, Arts, Business, History, Humanities, Social sciences, and Natural Sciences • Typing speed of 60+ wpm • Comfortable in an academic environment • Sensitivity to the needs of people with disabilities • Use of own personal laptop • Strong writing and editing skills • Ability to analyze and process information quickly • Able to work independently, be on time, dependable, and meet deadlines • Minimum of 2 professional references • Police Clearance Certificate • Minimum commitment of one academic semester • Availability for assignments typically between 8am–9pm Monday to Saturday
