📋 Description

• Utilize system tools and operational methods to ensure optimal product availability and inventory balance across multiple locations • Analyze field inventory levels to identify excesses and opportunities for utilization, repositioning, or pull back • Analyze inventory data and make decisions regarding aged inventory reduction • Monitor exception reports and daily analytics for aged inventory business metrics • Review and report time-sensitive exposure to the field to move product before expiration • Team with purchasing to align inventory disposition and required data updates • Analyze and communicate impacts of proposed changes to affected teams • Partner with departments on the disposition and retirement of aged products • Maintain supplier relations and address supplier returns • Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing, and category management on vendor agreements and future inventory requirements • Analyze trends and determine methods for reporting excess inventory to the field • Collaborate with analysts to maintain regional consistency • Create statistical forecasts and quantify inventory risks • Recommend disposition of inventory reserved at 100% to field leadership • Execute projects assigned by the field leadership team • May provide guidance to or train junior-level support or professional personnel

🎯 Requirements

• Must reside in New Jersey • Bachelor's degree in a related field • 2+ years of experience in inventory, supply chain or operations • Advanced use of SAP, JDA, Tableau, and/or Microsoft Office • Prior knowledge of Oracle R12 purchasing system and vendor agreements • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline and generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field, or MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field • Certification is required in some areas • Ability to travel overnight less than 10% of the time
