📋 Description

• Own the operational health and service delivery model for the engineering applications portfolio • Establish support processes, service expectations, escalation paths, and operating rhythms • Partner with Engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to define priorities and manage trade-offs • Monitor service performance, recurring issues, portfolio risks, and service metrics • Coordinate response, escalation, communication, and resolution for major application issues • Establish incident, problem, and change management practices • Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues • Balance production support with maintenance, upgrades, and continuous improvement • Maintain documentation for support procedures, known issues, releases, and dependencies • Oversee application lifecycle management, including version planning, patching, upgrades, compatibility reviews, and retirement planning • Coordinate release calendars, testing readiness, deployment planning, and change communications • Manage vendor support cases, product issues, roadmaps, licensing considerations, and upgrade dependencies • Govern applications in alignment with enterprise technology, security, and support standards • Evaluate enhancements and configuration options while maintaining supportability • Lead intake and prioritization of requests, enhancements, defects, and operational improvements • Translate stakeholder needs into a prioritized backlog with timelines and ownership • Coordinate improvement efforts across specialists, enterprise applications teams, vendors, and technical teams • Drive improvements that reduce support burden and improve user experience, consistency, and reliability • Report priorities, progress, risks, and dependencies to leadership and stakeholders • Lead and develop assigned engineering application resources through workload management, coaching, goal setting, feedback, and capability development • Establish role expectations, support responsibilities, and team operating rhythms • Foster accountability, responsiveness, collaboration, and continuous improvement • Help shape future organization design and resourcing needs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, construction technology, or a related field required • Equivalent years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree • 7+ years of experience supporting, administering, or managing engineering/design applications in architecture, engineering, construction, or a related environment required • Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Forma, or similar ecosystems required • Experience with application lifecycle management, including upgrades, version control, release planning, issue resolution, and operational support required • Experience managing stakeholder priorities, vendor relationships, and cross-functional coordination across business and technology teams required • Experience leading or coordinating support processes, service improvements, and platform governance required • Experience with software configuration, plug-in management, environment standards, and compatibility considerations across engineering platforms required • Prior people leadership or team coordination experience preferred • Strong communication, documentation, prioritization, and organizational skills required • Experience with incident, problem, and change management practices preferred • Experience with automation tools, APIs, scripting, or engineering platform customizations preferred
