📋 Description

• Design and implement secure, next-generation solutions supporting critical missions • Collaborate with technical leaders, business stakeholders, and a multidisciplinary team • Contribute to technical strategy in a mission-driven, customer-focused environment supporting the U.S. Navy • Develop software using Java, JavaScript, and scripting languages • Design data models and web APIs • Create software tasks from system requirements • Perform requirements analysis, design, development, unit testing, and integration testing • Troubleshoot and debug systems and web applications • Enhance and maintain the existing system • Design, develop, and document new features • Use Atlassian tools for day-to-day Scrum tasks • Implement web services, data persistence access features, and external interfaces • Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards • Build and adjust CI/CD pipelines in AWS Cloud environments • Perform deployments and maintenance as needs and requirements change • Translate Confluence product requirements into structured Jira user stories • Deliver Java microservices deployed on AWS infrastructure • Diagnose server and production issues and implement cybersecurity solutions • Mentor junior software engineers

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years software development experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field • United States Citizenship required for security-clearance eligibility • Must reside in the continental United States • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance • 2+ years AWS Cloud experience required • Professional experience in Java Spring Framework (Boot, Batch, Data, Security) • Software development experience using Java, JavaScript, React, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and other Object-Oriented Programming languages • Experience with architecture and CI/CD environments, including Docker, Ansible, and Jenkins • Experience with scripting languages including Python, Bash, and Perl on Linux servers or environments • AWS Cloud experience and ability to ship a system end to end • Experience with Git and/or Bitbucket • Experience developing and integrating complex software systems through the full SDLC • Experience utilizing Confluence and Jira in an AWS cloud environment • Experience with Agile Scrum • Strong attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication • Active Secret security clearance preferred • Additional front-end development experience with CSS, HTML, jQuery, JavaScript, and React preferred • Experience with Docker, Ansible, and Jenkins preferred • Mobile development experience with iOS and Android a bonus
