📋 Description

• Administer payroll for Canadian and US client organizations • Ensure payroll and benefits transactions are processed accurately and on time • Review and approve payroll and benefits data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, deductions and employee benefits • Address and resolve payroll and benefits discrepancies and issues • Use Ceridian, RISE, ADP, PayWorks and other payroll systems • Stay updated on system upgrades and enhancements • Troubleshoot and support system-related client inquiries • Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial and local payroll and benefits laws and regulations in Canada and the US • Generate payroll and benefits reports for client management and accounting • Prepare and submit payroll and benefits-related tax filings • Conduct payroll and benefits audits and recommend corrective actions • Perform payroll and benefits account reconciliations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and payroll certification preferred • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration • Proficiency in payroll and HRIS systems, preferably ADP, Ceridian and Payworks • In-depth knowledge of Canadian and US payroll and benefits laws, regulations, and tax codes • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • HR experience is an asset • Experience with Ceridian, RISE, ADP, PayWorks and other payroll systems • Ability to process payroll and benefits for Canadian and US clients
