📋 Description

• Drive the Paid MarTech pod’s technical roadmap and architectural decisions • Build reusable, scalable systems for current and future marketing needs • Enhance developer productivity through processes, tools, and abstractions • Lead team-wide initiatives and propose strategic engineering work • Partner with senior Product and Marketing leaders on product design and technical decisions • Champion observability, resilience, chaos engineering, disaster recovery, cost optimization, and security-by-design • Mentor engineers up to L5 • Document processes and resolve cross-team execution blockers • Serve as a marketing technology domain expert across the organization

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12 years of software engineering experience • Demonstrated expertise leading technical roadmaps and making architectural decisions impacting team-level systems • Expert-level proficiency in Python • Ability to design and implement reusable abstractions, frameworks, and patterns adopted across multiple projects • Deep technical knowledge of scalable, high-throughput systems • Knowledge of observability, cost efficiency, and security considerations • Ability to partner with senior Product and Marketing leaders and influence the product roadmap • Track record of process improvements, tooling development, and mentorship of senior engineers • Excellent communication and influence skills • Ability to drive cross-team and cross-functional initiatives • Preferred: experience with AI-assisted development infrastructure, tooling, and best practices • Preferred: expertise in ad tech platforms and marketing technology ecosystems • Preferred: large-scale legacy system modernization and technical debt management • Preferred: coding standards, architectural patterns, and technical review processes • Preferred: crisis contribution outside core technical expertise • Preferred: collaboration with external teams on cross-pillar partnerships
