📋 Description

• Understand Insulet insurance contracts, channeling, and processing requirements for covered products • Process reimbursement by contacting payors, verifying insurance benefits, and following medical reimbursement guidelines • Submit prior authorization requests for approval and payment of Insulet products • Calculate and document cost-share amounts for English-speaking and French-speaking customers • Collaborate with Case Management, OmniPod Sales, Billing, and other commercial teams on order status communication • Document interactions and calls in the customer database • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulatory bodies • Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous process improvement • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum Associates Degree • Proficiency in both English and French is strongly preferred • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • 2–4 years’ medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer product related field preferred • Knowledge and understanding of the managed care industry preferred • Knowledge of and experience supporting patients with diabetes preferred • Experience in reimbursement or working with private or public payers in Canada • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system preferred • Ability to work overtime to meet business objectives required • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and French • Creative problem-solving and results-orientation • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members • Ability to manage multiple challenges or tasks through prioritization and multitasking • Ability to use MS Office applications and CRM systems • Ability to sit and stand in a normal office environment • Manual dexterity for using a computer keyboard • Lightweight lifting may be required
