📋 Description

• Listen to the client, clearly explain the steps the claim will take, answer their questions, and deliver a streamlined service that exceeds expectations. • Analyze the client's insurance coverages and clearly explain which protections apply to the submitted claim. • Gather statements of events regarding the incident from insureds, third parties and other stakeholders to determine the circumstances, causes and admissibility of claims. • Assess potential liability of the insured and third parties, supporting conclusions with relevant investigative evidence. • Anticipate subrogation and recoveries, and direct the investigation accordingly. • Actively collaborate with related claims and underwriting teams, as well as external specialists. • Communicate effectively with the client to inform them of progress. • Accurately annotate and document the file in accordance with company standards and guidelines. • Ensure prudent management of fees and external costs. • Participate actively in catastrophe response and call overflow, when required.

🎯 Requirements

• PAA diploma (an asset) • Certified claims adjuster • 5 years' experience in commercial claims adjusting in the field (on the road) • Comfortable working in a computerized/digital environment • Bilingual (French and English)
