📋 Description

• Perform general accounting duties for an assigned portfolio, including month-end close processes, journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis • Manage cash accounting functions, including bank reconciliations, cash activity review, and monitoring of cash balances • Manage General Ledger accounting for assigned hotels across multiple entities • Perform sales and use tax reconciliation • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and presentations • Support internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and gathering documentation • Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions by reviewing transactions, resolving discrepancies, and guiding support staff • Perform technical accounting research for compliance with accounting standards • Identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and implement process improvements • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work-related experience • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the accounting field • Experience with M3 Accounting Core required • Multi-property or multi-entity accounting experience required • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and analytical skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and meet multiple competing deadlines • Must be 18 years or older • Ivy Hospitality participates in E-Verify
