📋 Description

• Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle through analysis, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance • Develop a detailed technical understanding of client needs and project requirements • Collaborate with technical stakeholders to create detailed work package estimates • Create, prioritize, assign, and monitor software development tasks for assigned projects • Lead and coordinate day-to-day execution for Engineering team members • Serve as the primary point of contact for project team status updates • Design and code software applications from business and technical specifications using AI-assisted development tools • Develop and execute unit, component, and integration tests • Perform code reviews, including reviews of AI-generated code • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues for assigned projects • Contribute to technical and end-user product documentation • Apply secure coding practices and consider production observability, debuggability, and maintainability

🎯 Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • 10+ years of full-stack software development with both frontend and backend experience • Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Node.js, REST API design, and SQL-based database querying • Advanced proficiency in either Angular or React, with working knowledge of the other • Experience writing incremental unit tests and applying coding best practices • Experience with relational and non-relational database design and development • Experience with Git and Git-based CI/CD pipelines • Proficient with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) • Able to judge when to accept, edit, or reject generated output • Skilled at providing effective context to produce production-quality results • Experience using AI to accelerate test authoring, documentation, and routine refactoring • Aware of AI tool limitations, including hallucinated APIs, outdated patterns, security pitfalls, and the need for human verification before merge • Self-directed and detail-oriented, able to take ownership from requirements through release • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Comfortable working across technical and business stakeholders • Supports the growth of other team members through peer reviews, pairing, and mentorship • ElasticSearch or other non-relational query experience • End-to-end test automation experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks • Cloud platform experience (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also valuable), including Redshift or comparable data warehouse experience • Familiarity with secure coding practices and common vulnerability classes (OWASP Top 10) • Experience building software in Agentic fashion • Legally authorized to work in the country where employment is offered • Must not require employment sponsorship
