📋 Description

• Own the libraries developers use to put Keycard in front of agents and MCP servers • Design and maintain consistent SDK APIs across Python, TypeScript, Go, and Ruby • Establish safe defaults for token verification, refresh, signing-key outages, audience validation, and authentication flows • Track upstream MCP SDK and framework releases and determine maintenance policies for older versions • Own package versioning, changelogs, deprecations, CI, and publishing to PyPI, npm, pkg.go.dev, and RubyGems • Own the workflow from the OpenAPI specification to Stainless-generated clients • Improve developer experience through quick starts, examples, and documentation • Incorporate developer feedback into API changes • Establish appropriate trust boundaries and review practices for coding-agent-generated pull requests • Collaborate with founders, product, and service engineering teams • Close gaps between TypeScript and Python SDKs • Publish a cross-language API guide • Deliver support for an upstream breaking change • Align the SDK roadmap with product and engineering

🎯 Requirements

• Staff-level software engineering experience • Shipped libraries or SDKs used by other developers and supported them through breaking changes • Maintained one API consistently across at least two languages • Idiomatic Python and TypeScript; Go or Ruby is a plus • Library-level knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and OIDC, including token verification, refresh, PKCE, and token exchange (RFC 8693) • Real-world versioning experience, including peer dependency ranges, maintenance branches, and deprecations • Experience building with MCP and agent frameworks • Daily use of coding agents and ability to identify where their output needs closer review • Code generation for multi-language SDKs using Stainless, Speakeasy, Fern, OpenAPI, or protobuf is a plus • Plugin or integration ecosystem experience is a plus • Contributions to MCP, A2A protocol, or open source agent frameworks are a plus • Experience with Cloudflare Workers or Temporal is a plus • Authorization to work in the United States or Canada
