📋 Description

• Own platform product operations and launch readiness for B2B2C products including KYC/KYB, lending, and unified APIs • Gate product go-lives against regulatory and operational requirements • Build scalable operations that enable products to ship quickly in regulated markets • Drive cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and external partners • Run roadmap milestones, compliance deliverables, and infrastructure programs • Operate day-to-day activities across US regulated entities, including licensing maintenance, operational risk, incident management, outsourcing, intra-group coordination, audit and examination readiness, and Board/ExCo/management reporting • Serve as functional operating lead, equivalent to a functional COO, for US regulated entities • Lead operational work for US state money transmitter and state lending license workstreams, including NMLS filings • Translate regulatory requirements into governance processes, controls, documentation, and examiner evidence • Support licenses through approval • Act as operational counterpart to regulators and examiners alongside Legal and Compliance • Handle information requests, supervisory queries, incident notifications, and follow-up actions • Represent US regulated entities in board, regulatory, and executive discussions • Define core metrics, improve systems, and elevate the operating model for regulated B2B products

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience • Strategy consulting background, including MBB, Big 4 strategy, or boutique experience • Proven operational execution experience in-house • Experience operating inside a scaling fintech, bank, or crypto firm in special projects, chief of staff, operations strategy, business/product operations, or operations lead roles • Experience running or working on a B2B or B2B2C business in technology • Ideally, experience supporting platform teams, shared infrastructure, APIs, or internal-client/partner models • Comfort working deeply with Product and Engineering on product mechanics and flows • Working familiarity with the US regulated financial landscape, supervision, and examination • Experience setting up or working with compliance programs, including KYC/KYB onboarding programs • Experience running complex cross-functional programs without formal authority • Rigorous governance and control standards with pragmatic process judgment • Excellent communication across regulators, boards, engineers, and commercial partners • Comfort with ambiguity and broad ownership • Nice to have: hands-on regulatory-change program experience • Nice to have: crypto or digital-assets experience, including crypto-native treasury and custody operations • Nice to have: former founder, GM, or early operations hire at a fintech or crypto startup
