• Develop and execute a multi-year global facilities strategy aligned with business growth, manufacturing capacity requirements, capital plans, and acquisition activity • Establish and maintain a comprehensive view of Kraken's global facilities portfolio, including offices, manufacturing sites, warehouses, and other operational facilities • Assess facility requirements and recommend expansions, consolidations, relocations, acquisitions, disposals, and investments • Lead facility footprint planning, capacity planning, utilization analysis, and facilities governance • Support facility-related due diligence, planning, and integration activities for acquisitions and divestitures • Ensure facilities are safe, reliable, properly maintained, and capable of supporting business requirements • Oversee maintenance programs, building systems, utilities, infrastructure, facility services, and global fleet management • Ensure facility readiness for manufacturing programs, product introductions, laboratories, testing environments, and capacity expansions • Identify facility constraints, risks, and dependencies affecting execution, production capacity, or customer commitments • Drive facility improvements that enhance productivity, throughput, utilization, and employee experience • Own delivery of facility and infrastructure capital projects, including expansions, renovations, upgrades, installations, relocations, and modernization • Establish project planning, budgeting, governance, reporting, and execution practices • Oversee global real estate and lease portfolio, including leasing strategies, negotiations, renewals, amendments, expansions, acquisitions, and exits • Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, building, occupancy, and operational requirements • Support physical security, workplace health and safety, emergency preparedness, business continuity, disaster recovery, and site resilience • Build, lead, and develop the Global Facilities function • Provide executive reporting on facility performance, portfolio risks, capital projects, lease obligations, capacity, and investment priorities • Act as the senior subject matter expert for facilities strategy, governance, capital project delivery, and operational readiness
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in facilities, operations, manufacturing infrastructure, capital projects, or related functions • Proven experience managing industrial, manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, warehouse, or technical facilities environments across multiple sites and jurisdictions • Demonstrated experience leading capital projects, facility expansions, upgrades, relocations, consolidations, or infrastructure modernization initiatives • Experience operating within complex manufacturing, defense, marine technology, aerospace, robotics, or industrial environments • Proven ability to build and manage budgets, business cases, capital plans, and long-term facility strategies • Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority • Strong understanding of facility operations, maintenance management, business continuity, operational readiness, and risk management • Demonstrated ability to align facilities investments and operations with strategic business objectives • Strong communication, leadership, and executive presentation skills • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Business, Operations, or a related discipline
