📋 Description

• Run a newly established Independent Review function responsible for ensuring proposal offerings enable the right long-term financial outcomes • Perform Independent Cost Estimate reviews to evaluate financial uncertainty in the bid process and execution confidence • Partner with functional leadership to drive estimating expectations and establish a professional estimating framework • Create and maintain a Corporate Independent Cost Estimate Review calendar • Prepare Independent Cost Estimate outputs to drive decision-making at Segment and Corporate proposal reviews • Advise on functional estimating initiatives and establish estimating factors to evaluate bids • Partner with Program Excellence to coordinate joint Non-Advocate Reviews, Baseline Reviews, and Program Assessment Reviews • Develop the Independent Review discipline within finance and build and expand a review team • Evaluate labor and material estimates, subcontract quotes, special contract clauses, and cash flow models • Travel up to 25% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience • Minimum of 12 years experience in defense contracting environment, proposals, and financial positions • Good communication and presentation skills • Strong analytical capabilities • Capable in modeling and scenario analysis • Able to successfully work across multiple functions • Able to meet deadlines and operate to short timeline efforts • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
