📋 Description

• Drive the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the organization • Partner with business leaders to understand operational drivers, evaluate performance, and align financial plans with strategic objectives • Build, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for strategic planning, scenario analysis, resource allocation, and decision-making • Analyze business performance, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages, including financial and operational KPIs, variance analyses, and executive commentary • Prepare Board of Directors reporting materials communicating financial performance, business initiatives, and strategic priorities • Support strategic initiatives including M&A evaluations, investment analyses, pricing assessments, and capital allocation decisions • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and reporting enhancements • Act as a strategic partner to the Director of FP&A, supporting executive decision-making and shaping the organization’s financial strategy • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and support cross-functional project teams as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, consulting, or related analytical roles • Experience supporting executive leadership teams and preparing executive- or Board-level presentations preferred • Experience within healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, laboratory services, technology-enabled services, or private equity-backed organizations preferred • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Experience with financial planning and analysis tools such as Datarails, Prophix, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Hyperion, or similar platforms • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial performance to operational outcomes • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights • Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making and build relationships across all levels of the organization • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on automation, efficiency, and scalability • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Prolonged use of computer and headphones for conference calls • Communicate effectively via phone, video, and email • Use hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment • Minimal travel required
