📋 Description

• Design and build core technology powering Lime’s fleet of connected electric vehicles • Build backend systems processing requests from IoT devices and consumer-facing applications • Improve operational tools used to charge, deploy, and maintain electric vehicles • Solve strategically essential technical problems and build scalable foundational platforms • Revamp existing core application experiences • Analyze and reason about technology and architecture • Build scalable, efficient, and stable software • Collaborate with PMs, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Research, and Operations teams • Contribute to the company’s engineering culture • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents, outages, and critical alerts • Troubleshoot issues, escalate incidents, coordinate service restoration, and perform root cause analysis • Document issues and improve service reliability to reduce recurring incidents

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must reside in Canada • 1+ years of industry professional software development experience • Track record of building impactful products or systems • Ability to write logical and maintainable code • Ability to provide clear feedback in code reviews • Technical proficiency to understand project and idea design and implementation • Excellent communication and effective prioritization skills • Ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation, including occasional after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage • Experience in Ruby and Go preferred • Experience working with engineers as customers preferred • Experience building and maintaining scalable data ingestion pipelines preferred
