📋 Description

• Lead the company's reporting and analytics function as the sole Data Analyst • Serve as an internal analytics consultant across the organization • Analyze business operations, customer behavior, mobile application telemetry, and security event data • Support decision-making, measure product performance, identify trends, and inform strategic planning • Contribute to financial reporting, including quarter-end close, invoicing, and reconciliation • Develop and maintain executive dashboards and operational reports using Tableau • Analyze business metrics including revenue, customer growth, subscriptions, retention, product adoption, and operational performance • Analyze mobile application telemetry, customer behavior, product usage, and feature adoption • Analyze security event data to monitor threats, trends, anomalies, and product effectiveness • Partner with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and Security Intelligence • Define and monitor KPIs and identify trends and opportunities for business and product improvement • Translate complex data findings into clear insights and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences • Write efficient SQL queries in AWS Athena against large datasets stored in Amazon S3 • Integrate data from multiple internal systems • Design, develop, publish, and maintain Tableau dashboards • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity • Document data sources, business rules, report definitions, and analytical methodologies • Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting and analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience • 5+ years of experience delivering analytics or business intelligence solutions in technology, mobile applications, cybersecurity, or a related environment • Expert-level SQL proficiency and experience working with complex relational datasets • Experience with AWS Athena or a similar cloud-based analytical query engine • Advanced Tableau or equivalent BI platform experience • Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling • Experience analyzing software product telemetry, application usage, or operational event data • Experience working with large-scale datasets in cloud environments • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with minimal supervision • Preferred: Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis, data exploration, and automation • Preferred: Experience in cybersecurity, mobile applications, and/or SaaS • Preferred: Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices • Preferred: Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and workflows for automating reporting and analysis
