📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise integrations and backend services using C#, .NET, and Azure Integration Services • Establish the emerging Azure integration platform using serverless and cloud-native design patterns • Design asynchronous messaging and event-driven integrations with delivery, ordering, retry, dead-letter, fault-tolerance, and observability patterns • Provide hands-on technical direction to small groups of engineers • Contribute to architectural decisions, implementation priorities, knowledge sharing, and team capability development • Collaborate with cloud infrastructure, software engineering, product, and security teams • Modernize integrations spanning on-premises .NET services, MuleSoft, and Azure-native technologies • Engineer integrations for throughput, availability, security, and cost efficiency • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting • Advance CI/CD, automation, reusable integration patterns, and technical documentation • Explore AI-assisted development, automation, and agentic tooling

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience • Expertise in C#, .NET, and Microsoft Azure • Strong grounding in object-oriented programming, software architecture, and scalable production-grade backend services • Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native integrations using Azure Integration Services • Understanding of cloud architecture and infrastructure concepts • Experience designing service-oriented and event-driven systems, asynchronous messaging, distributed systems, and reliability patterns • Production experience with API development, authentication, authorization, and secure integration practices • Experience providing technical direction, architectural guidance, implementation planning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Proactive, ownership-oriented approach to engineering • Must be located in Canada for this remote role
