📋 Description

• Coach and mentor a team of AMCS Case Analysts and Case Managers • Inspire new staff to achieve their potential through candid feedback • Support the administration of strategic, best-in-class disability case management • Creatively solve complex claim issues • Establish and cultivate internal and external partnerships • Conduct regular audit reviews to contribute to a high level of quality • Foster a continuous improvement culture • Participate in and/or lead various agile initiatives • Support training and development needs of Case Analysts and Case Managers within the AMCS Center of Excellence

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of post-secondary education in a health sciences field • 2-3 years’ experience managing health recovery absences • Knowledge of absence management philosophy and processes • Knowledge of medical terminology, treatment and/or physical/mental functional ability assessment • Superior communication skills • Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems • Willingness to listen, think differently, and learn from all levels of staff while working toward the best solution for the organization • Experience in a health-related field would be an asset • Experience in technical training and development of staff • Experience in coaching, mentoring, technical training, and/or developing people • Passion for sharing knowledge in a fast-paced environment • Natural curiosity leading to continuous improvement • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment • Driven by a passion to do what is right • Encourages self and others to have a growth mindset
