Male, female, and ethnically diverse Care Partners are assigned to each location making regularly scheduled brief worksite visits.

📋 Description

• Serve as frontline staff fulfilling MCC's mission and Christian ministry by serving company employees and their immediate families • Serve as a messenger and conveyor of faith, mission, and purpose • Visit company worksites, usually weekly, to interact with employees and build relationships of trust and friendship • Visit employees or immediate family members in hospitals, nursing homes, funeral homes, family residences, and other sites • Provide confidential pastoral discussions on family matters, divorce, serious illness, caregiving, death and grief, parenting, financial stress, and other personal issues • Provide referrals and coordinate specialized assistance for employees and immediate family members • Assist in planning, conducting, or attending funerals and provide follow-up grief support • Make jail visits to employees and immediate family members when needed • Serve notifications of death and serious injuries and encourage those impacted by tragedies • Provide post-termination care for laid-off or terminated employees • Facilitate spiritual enrichment activities when appropriate • Provide literature and resources for employees' life issues • Represent companies to clients or customers when ministry services are appropriate • Participate in new employee orientation to explain the Employee Care Service and Care Team Member role • Perform other duties and services requested by company executive leadership within the scope of the agreement

• Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary group and in an interfaith setting; ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values • Effective listening and interaction skills with clients, employees, and families • Skills to deliver community presentations and deal effectively with family members and staff under stressful circumstances • High regard for the dignity and worth of clients, employees, and their families • Ability to cope with stressful situations and document accurately according to standards • Spiritual maturity and commitment to a Christian lifestyle and MCC's Ministry values • Fundamental understanding of the Holy Bible and its proper application • Saving faith in Jesus Christ and active participation in a biblically based church • Professional, diplomatic, patient, and courteous interaction with diverse groups • Ability to establish and maintain effective cooperative working relationships and provide exceptional customer service • Ability to make administrative and procedural decisions on sensitive, confidential issues • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Emotional stability to cope with human suffering, emergencies, and other stresses • Skill in analyzing information, following up on problems or objectives, identifying solutions, and solving problems • Skill in interpreting policies and procedures and keeping others informed • Computer proficiency with Google Suites, Microsoft Office, internet, email messaging, and web-based software applications • Ability to understand and learn new technology programs • Must have active provincial license and auto insurance • Must pass a pre-employment background check and reference check
