📋 Description

• Monitor and oversee the daily activities of the accounts receivable team • Monitor client inventory, timely and accurate account work, and collection goals • Coordinate follow-up activities and ensure equitable work assignments • Ensure quality and productivity standards are met and address performance issues • Ensure supervisors conduct timely and accurate productivity and quality monitoring • Document and enforce client-specific policies and procedures • Monitor client accounts receivable and proactively address performance gaps • Resolve external and internal client inquiries • Prepare and maintain reports and logs, including monthly client reporting • Monitor Smartfeed assignments in the MPower Workflow system and escalate issues • Review contract pricing and escalate identified issues to leadership and contract management • Maintain knowledge of healthcare issues and regulations • Provide training, monitoring, feedback, and disciplinary action as necessary • Monitor team attendance and PTO usage • Disable remote client access for terminated or transferred employees when applicable • Ensure compliance with Information Security, HIPAA, and PHI handling policies • Report security or HIPAA violations and concerns to HIPAA Officers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • 5+ years' experience in a physician business office or similar setting • 3+ years' experience in a billing management role • Previous supervisory experience • Proficiency with MS Office • Knowledge of healthcare-related issues and regulations • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, verbal, and written skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Reliability, responsibility, goal orientation, and flexibility • Ability to use a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes • Ability to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stress • Ability to comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures
