📋 Description

• Own the 3–5 year strategic vision and success metrics for the Signal Priority and Preemption portfolio • Connect hardware, edge computing, and cloud software across various fleet types • Design scalable solutions that reduce deployment friction, lower cost of scale, and improve unit economics • Transform complex signal-priority problems into actionable, market-ready solutions • Conduct continuous discovery and validate the riskiest assumptions • Shift offerings from reactive data visualization to AI-driven predictive optimization • Act as executive-level authority on priority systems and smart infrastructure • Influence company-wide product strategy and advise senior leadership on market positioning • Build partner networks and align Sales, Engineering, and GTM teams on high-stakes releases • Negotiate complex trade-offs independently • Protect and scale key revenue streams through reliable, modern software • Mentor junior product managers • Drive cloud-connected preemption and priority software for emergency vehicles, public transit, and commercial fleets • Build analytics platforms for fleet performance, intersection health, safety metrics, and fuel efficiency • Ensure seamless integration with the broader platform ecosystem and architecture • Report directly to the Product Director of App Services

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive product management experience as a principal or lead contributor • Proven track record of scaling enterprise platforms • Proven success expanding into new vertical markets • Ability to thrive in high-standard, highly ambiguous environments • Ability to take total ownership of complex initiatives • Continuous discovery and validation of critical assumptions • Strong business acumen connecting product decisions to COGS and margins • Ability to align product strategy with executive-level sales and engineering goals • Ability to manage complex trade-offs and protect high-impact priorities • Passion for technology that saves lives, accelerates public transit, and optimizes commercial fleets • Legally eligible to work in either Canada or the United States
