📋 Description

• Design, build, and scale robust ETL pipelines for complex data workflows • Automate and manage data ingestion from databases, APIs, and cloud platforms • Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency • Modernize legacy data systems through architectural improvements • Lead technical excellence through mentorship, code reviews, best-practice enforcement, and advanced tools • Implement data validation, monitoring, testing, and compliance-focused controls • Collaborate with analytics, product, engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders • Translate requirements into scalable data models and transformations • Enable self-service analytics and maintain clear documentation • Lead training initiatives and contribute to architecture roadmaps and governance policies

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL • Proven experience in ETL pipeline development • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including cloud-native data engineering tools and services • Strong understanding of batch processing, streaming, and event-driven systems • Ability to optimize data workflows and troubleshoot complex data issues • Ability to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of data systems • Strong project management skills • Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field is required • Master’s degree preferred • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or equivalent tools is nice to have • Previous experience working with large-scale healthcare or insurance organizations is nice to have
