📋 Description

• Translate business requirements into technical strategies and architect solutions on MMA data platforms • Design enterprise data architecture and solutions across cloud and hybrid data platforms • Lead design and architecture of enterprise solutions across Agency Management Software, EHB, and CRM domains • Develop and maintain solution blueprints for Agency management systems, GCP, Azure Databricks, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure SQL • Define and enforce medallion architecture standards for the data Lakehouse • Establish secure and scalable integration patterns and data flows between AMS, HRIS, CRM, Azure Cloud, and development systems • Ensure solutions comply with GDPR, HIPAA, and other healthcare and insurance regulatory frameworks • Collaborate with the Data Governance Council on RBAC and RLS in Unity Catalog and Power BI • Drive metadata management and data lineage practices in Databricks Unity Catalog and other governance tools • Partner with enterprise architecture, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering teams on shared infrastructure and data strategies • Evaluate emerging AI/ML, Databricks, and analytics technology features • Develop frameworks for AI-ready data platforms and support responsible predictive analytics and LLM-based solutions • Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for engineering, analytics, and operational use cases • Support large-scale data migrations, modernization initiatives, proof-of-concept experiments, and requirements gathering

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience designing end-to-end ETL/ELT data solutions • Minimum 5 years preferably in an Azure cloud environment and Databricks • Experience with agile methodologies, large-scale data migrations, data modernization initiatives, proof-of-concept experiments, and requirements gathering • Ability to create conceptual, logical, and physical data models and entity relationships • Advanced knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and modern data Lakehouse technologies • Hands-on experience with Delta Lake features including change data capture, ACID transactions, optimization, and schema drifting/evolution • Experience with batch and real-time data processing • Understanding of compliance, quality, and security frameworks for healthcare and insurance • In-depth understanding of structured and unstructured data structures, data types, and formats • Command of high-performance data storage in data lakes • Certifications in TOGAF, Enterprise Architecture, or Azure are a plus but not required
