📋 Description

• Design and run sandboxed, reproducible, permissioned, and disposable execution environments for agents • Build and own the MCP and tool-gateway layer so agents access infrastructure through governed interfaces • Turn CI/CD into a deterministic validation loop that agents can retry against • Own multi-cloud Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and GitOps delivery using ArgoCD • Drive infrastructure modernization across AWS and OCI cloud environments • Map dependencies and maintain durable infrastructure documentation • Serve multiple product lines while converging unnecessary platform differences • Treat security and compliance as design constraints from the first commit • Push autonomous remediation into currently human-paged operational paths • Improve deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, MTTR, and the share of operational work running without human intervention • Identify repetitive work across operations, compliance, and support that the platform can absorb • Collaborate in small, high-ownership teams with a short distance between decision and deployment

🎯 Requirements

• Deep, current production experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and a modern GitOps deployment stack • Production ownership experience, including running systems in production rather than handing them off after launch • Genuine production depth in at least one cloud platform; experience with both AWS and OCI is an advantage • Daily use of coding and operations agents, such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent, on real systems • Ability to demonstrate a recent system shipped where an agent did most of the typing and the candidate did the judging • Strong judgment about where autonomy belongs and where it does not • Clear technical writing readable by junior engineers and models • Experience building internal developer platforms, MCP servers, or agent tooling adopted by other engineers is an advantage • Experience with non-human identity, secrets architecture, or policy-as-code in a regulated environment is an advantage • Experience re-platforming at scale, especially systems requiring continuous availability, is an advantage • Opinions about evaluating infrastructure agents are an advantage • Must be based in Canada; applicants located outside Canada will not be considered
