📋 Description

• Support the growth and retention of the Commercial Card portfolio • Execute proactive client outreach based on portfolio segmentation, risk indicators, growth potential, attrition risk, and business needs • Conduct account reviews covering relationship health, utilization trends, spend activity, optimization opportunities, business growth potential, and attrition risk • Identify and coordinate action plans for retention concerns • Build relationships with key client contacts • Partner with Service, Relationship Management, Sales, and Product teams to resolve issues and protect client value • Identify opportunities to increase Commercial Card spend, utilization, and relationship value • Promote relevant Commercial Payments capabilities, products, and solutions • Support supplier enablement and supplier file acquisition efforts • Develop and maintain a pipeline of optimization opportunities • Generate qualified referrals to Commercial Card Sales, Treasury Management, Commercial Payments, and other bank partners • Track referral activity and pipeline progression • Collaborate on opportunity handoffs and client experiences • Provide training and mentoring to junior Account Managers • Promote an environment supporting belonging and reflecting the M&T Bank brand • Complete other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years Commercial Card/Merchant (or related relevant product) sales experience, or in lieu of degree, a combined minimum of 9 years education and/or Commercial Card/Merchant (or related relevant product) sales experience • Previous account management experience preferred • Compliance with applicable compliance/operational risk controls and Company or regulatory standards and policies • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points and applicable issues raised by external regulators
