📋 Description

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable automated test suites in Playwright • Adapt and extend the existing automation framework for major platform programs • Partner with architects, developers, product managers, Staff QA Automation Developers, delivery leadership, stakeholders, and partners across the SDLC • Clarify requirements and define clear acceptance criteria early • Drive quality across UI and API testing using monitoring signals, incident reviews, and customer feedback • Prioritize automation coverage with delivery leadership and stakeholders • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD so coverage runs continuously • Define comprehensive test plans from URDs, PRDs, HLDs, product specifications, and design specifications • Support User Acceptance Testing for key projects and partner/client integrations • Leverage AI to accelerate building and maintaining automated tests and share effective practices • Improve quality processes, documentation, and team workflows and standardize repeatable practices • Review and run manual test cases in test management tooling • Validate features against test plans and incorporate appropriate scenarios into the automated regression suite • Achieve 60–80% automation of critical test scenarios within 90 days • Enable automation to run on pull requests in the CI/CD pipeline within six months

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience testing SaaS or cloud applications • 2+ years of hands-on test automation framework experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar • Experience authoring and maintaining end-to-end (E2E) test suites • Strong background in TypeScript and/or Go required • Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases is a plus • Automation-first track record with automated coverage integrated reliably into CI/CD • Full-stack testing experience across UI and API layers • API validation experience with tools such as Postman • Test architecture and scalable design expertise • Experience with Page Object Model, data factories, and separation of concerns • Agile fluency and comfort with rapid release cycles • Familiarity with test management platforms such as Allure TestOps • Initiative and ability to bring an informed plan and point of view • Candidates must be able to work in Canada • Strong preference for candidates able to work Eastern Time hours
