• Drive new business from renewable energy developers to achieve a $2M annual quota. • Own the full sales cycle—prospect, qualify, demo, negotiate, and close. • Research and target renewable energy developers using a strategic and data-driven approach • Engage with Transmission, Interconnection, and Development teams to understand their pain points • Educate prospects on how Nira can de-risk and accelerate their project development • Partner with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Data) to relay customer insights and refine messaging • Track pipeline activity and maintain accurate forecasts in the CRM • Build trust along with a strong pipeline of deals through outbounds, industry events, and relationships. • Become a student of interconnection and transmission planning — able to speak credibly with technical buyers. • Partner closely with product and customer success to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term adoption. • Work with the sales leadership team to refine our sales playbook.
• 2–7 years of experience in SaaS or energy sales (startup experience a plus). • Either: (a) Background in renewable development or interconnection, OR (b) proven ability to sell into a technical market without prior domain experience. • You’re energized by outbound prospecting and breaking into new accounts • You have (or are excited to develop) a strong understanding of transmission and grid interconnection • You’re a clear, persuasive communicator who can navigate technical conversations with confidence • You’re self-motivated, organized, and thrive in fast-moving environments • You care deeply about accelerating the energy transition and making a real impact • A track record of beating quota, ideally closing $500k–$2M+ ARR per year. • Hustle + grit: you create opportunities. • Desire to work at a startup — resourceful, adaptable, and coachable. • Excellent written, verbal, and relationship-building skills.
