📋 Description

• Work with development teams to support quality practices • Build manual and automated integration and system tests • Ensure quality of APIs and other services offered on Akamai Cloud • Ensure the cloud platform is resilient, secure, and scalable • Review product designs, architecture, and specifications • Develop comprehensive test plans and execute functional, load, and performance tests • Contribute continuously to test automation infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines • Write automated tests and review peer automation pull requests • Partner with globally distributed developers, SDET engineers, architects, and program managers • Contribute to release readiness decisions and deployment schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies • More than 6 years of experience developing Python-based automation frameworks and testing REST/Open APIs • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments and core networking concepts (HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP) • Proficiency with Git, Jira, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and basic MySQL database querying/schema design • Experience with Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, scaling, and troubleshooting containerized applications
