📋 Description

• Develop and maintain Akamai's Cloud API and Cloud Identity Management solutions • Build manual and automated integration and system tests • Ensure the quality of APIs and other services offered on Akamai Cloud • Ensure the cloud platform is resilient, secure, and scalable • Review product designs, architecture, and specifications • Develop comprehensive test plans • Execute functional, load, and performance tests • Contribute to test automation infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines • Write automated tests and review peer automation pull requests • Partner with globally distributed developers, SDET engineers, architects, and program managers • Contribute to release readiness decisions and deployment schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, another related field, or equivalent • Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies • More than 8 years of experience developing Python-based automation frameworks and testing REST/Open APIs • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments • Knowledge of core networking concepts including HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP • Proficiency with Git, Jira, CI/CD tools including Jenkins and GitHub Actions • Basic MySQL database querying and schema design • Experience with Kubernetes, including deploying, managing, scaling, and troubleshooting containerized applications
