• Direct the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards • Oversees Quality care and analyzes the entire operation of the nursing facility • Responsible for the overall operational functioning of the facility • Develop and maintain written policies and procedures and professional standards of practice that govern the operation of the facility • Participate in Advisory committees • Ensure that all facility personnel, residents, visitors, etc. follow established safety regulations
• Must possess, as a minimum, A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent • Master’s Degree or MBA preferred • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees • Must maintain licensing credentials for an Administrator
