📋 Description

• Partner with sales teams to meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic technical account plans • Position, demonstrate, and design security architectures across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio • Architect complex network security, security operations, and cloud security environments • Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks security platform • Conduct technical discovery and align solutions to customer requirements • Lead proof-of-concept engagements, technical workshops, and product demonstrations • Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, Specialist, Customer Support, and Channel Partner teams • Communicate complex security concepts to technical practitioners and executive leadership • Promote end-to-end security solutions and partner professional services • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging security threats • Develop technical expertise and contribute to the District Systems Engineer community and industry events • Support cross-training across SOC, Cloud, Networking, and NetSec • Grow toward portfolio architect and CTO/CIO/CISO-level leadership responsibilities • Design and architect large, complex environments • Build and maintain strong customer relationships using consulting skills • Mentor inside Systems Engineers • Travel up to 50% within the assigned district and support in-person customer meetings

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering and/or completion of the SC Academy • Understanding of data networking, security architectures, and modern cloud computing environments • Experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives is preferred • Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders • Prior experience in a pre-sales role is ideal • Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements • Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies • Experience partnering with Customer Support functions for implementation and adoption • Experience in complex sales with long sales processes, multiple buying centers, and multi-product solutions is preferred • Proficient in English • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned district • Must not require immigration sponsorship; the employer will not sponsor work visas
