• Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle. Advise prospects on the use of Cincom products during evaluations. Participate in drafting proposals, responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) and related technical documentation. • Design, deploy and manage evaluations and proofs of concept (POCs), demonstrating the effectiveness of Cincom solutions and their business value. • Support the sales team during deal negotiations by understanding customer accounts, their technical requirements and existing infrastructure to propose appropriate solutions. Participate in compliance checks when necessary. • Establish and maintain strong technical relationships with key stakeholders at customer sites and act as a trusted advisor. Also serve as the commercial point of contact for critical support cases. • Respond to inquiries received by phone, email or web forms, qualify opportunities and document outcomes in Cincom’s CRM before handing qualified leads to the appropriate sales representative. • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Provide technical support and training to members of the sales team. Work closely with marketing, product management, professional services, development and support teams. • Conduct product demonstrations and in-depth technical presentations, clearly communicating the technical capabilities and business value of Cincom solutions. Present remotely or on-site, with or without a sales representative present. • Attend industry events, trade shows and conferences to promote solutions and generate business opportunities. • Support marketing initiatives through webinars, seminars, customer events and industry conferences. Contribute to the creation of product-focused video content and marketing materials. • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Cincom products, competitors and market trends. Stay informed of software development best practices and innovations. • Understand how Cincom products are used by customers and gather requirements for new features, products or services. Work closely with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and market trends. • Work closely with the sales director and Cincom management to ensure alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives. Actively participate in sales reviews, forecasting, pipeline analysis and strategic planning sessions. • Ensure that all interactions with customers comply with company policies, governance requirements and strategic guidelines.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience implementing solutions in the CCM (Customer Communications Management) domain, ideally in the following sectors: financial services, banking, insurance, healthcare or the public sector. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a pre-sales engineer, technical pre-sales, product management or similar role within the software industry. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to technical and non-technical audiences. • Demonstrated ability to listen, ask relevant questions and explain complex concepts clearly. • Strong understanding of document management practices, related software and software implementation methodologies. • Familiarity with modern software architectures such as SaaS, microservices and related technologies. • Proven experience delivering product demonstrations and proofs of concept (POCs). • Track record of supporting sales cycles and achieving business targets. • Availability to travel as needed to meet customers and attend industry events. • Team player with a collaborative attitude and willingness to share knowledge and inspire others.
