📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs deployed in AWS across multiple technical domains • Develop scalable, high-performance solutions following modern software design principles and business requirements • Contribute to architectural discussions and drive clean, reusable solutions across services • Ensure stability, performance, and scalability of core platform services and APIs • Participate in Agile planning, retrospectives, and story grooming • Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous code quality improvements • Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Security on high-quality software delivery • Mentor peers and junior engineers through collaboration and knowledge sharing • Leverage AI-based development tools to accelerate development, generate and maintain tests, automate repetitive engineering tasks, and improve code quality and velocity

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend software engineering focused on building enterprise-grade applications • 4+ years developing scalable, high-performance, high availability microservices • 4+ years designing cloud-native architectures and implementing infrastructure as code • 4+ years of hands-on experience with relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries • 2+ years of Google Ad Manager or any other ad server experience • 2+ years of front-end development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular • Advanced proficiency in Python 3, with expert-level knowledge required; a coding assessment will be administered • Elasticsearch experience or other cloud-native search technologies • Hands-on experience using AI-based development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot • Desired: observability and performance monitoring tools including New Relic and Sentry • Desired: Docker, Amazon ECS, and Kubernetes • Desired: cloud security concepts and protocols including OAuth2, JWT, HMAC, data encryption, hashing, and secret management • Desired: digital advertising platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Kevel, Sizmek, and DV360 • Desired: healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and PHI • Desired: software development focused on customer feedback and iterative improvement • Self-motivation, ambition, resourcefulness, multitasking, creative problem-solving, resilience, sound business judgment, and relationship-building ability
