📋 Description

• Provide leadership and guidance to stores to achieve district sales and profit goals • Develop and implement plans, policies, and procedures to maximize profits • Analyze and monitor sales and expenses for each store and provide recommendations • Present district sales figures to the Regional Manager • Visit district stores regularly and conduct inspections • Recruit, train, develop, and manage Store Management • Ensure associates are trained to provide outstanding customer service • Counsel Store Managers on personnel issues, store events, problem solving, and crisis intervention • Set individual and store goals and track progress • Visit competitor locations and report observed changes • Audit store paperwork and cash-control procedures • Ensure compliance with Shrink reduction and Asset Protection programs • Coordinate new store openings and remodels • Facilitate prompt repair of store equipment • Ensure accurate and timely completion of store paperwork and corporate correspondence • Promote established safety procedures • Monitor merchandise levels, coordinate stock balancing, and audit physical inventory counts • Complete performance evaluations and merit increase recommendations for Store Managers • Train and develop Store Managers and store personnel, including delegation and instruction • Approve performance evaluations and provide progressive-discipline guidance • Communicate district situations and conditions to appropriate management or departments • Travel between stores, sometimes several hundred miles per week
