📋 Description

• Own accounting operations across five entities in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, and India, including intercompany, FX, and consolidated reporting • Lead the month-end close with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and continuous process improvement • Oversee the annual audit, general ledger, treasury, accounts receivable and billing, and accounts payable • Own revenue recognition across time and materials, fixed fee, and recurring managed services engagements • Coordinate statutory filings, indirect tax (sales tax, VAT, GST), and transfer pricing with external advisors • Lead, develop, and support an accounting team spanning onsite, remote, and offshore members • Deliver the monthly reporting package, including financial statements, presentation materials, and variance-focused commentary for company leadership and Pine Services Group • Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning • Strengthen systems, controls, and reporting as the business scales, including MS Business Central

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Active or recently active CPA license, or equivalent • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people leadership • Demonstrated ownership of month-end close and financial reporting • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, with particular emphasis on ASC 606 revenue and cost recognition standards • Hands-on experience with mid-market ERP systems • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to produce clear, executive-ready reporting • Exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to deadlines • A genuine desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility • Experience in a private equity-backed or public organization (nice-to-have) • MS Business Central experience (nice-to-have) • Background in professional services, consulting, or technology services (nice-to-have) • Power BI and AI in Accounting experience (nice-to-have)
