📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end integration architecture for the program • Act as the single point of accountability for enterprise integration design • Translate business and functional requirements into architecture patterns, integration standards, and design blueprints • Collaborate with the Integration Lead, client architects, and Red Hat and Microsoft/Azure platform SMEs • Define target-state integration architecture, including synchronous/asynchronous patterns, event-driven design, and API-led connectivity across HIP and Azure • Author and maintain architecture decision records, integration design standards, naming conventions, and reusable pattern catalogs • Define Kafka topic strategy, including topic design, partitioning, schema governance, and integration with Azure Service Bus/Logic Apps • Define the 3Scale API strategy, including API tiers, versioning, security policies, and throttling/rate limiting • Lead architecture governance, design reviews, and non-functional requirement sign-off for latency, throughput, resilience, and disaster recovery • Own security and compliance for integration flows, including OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, data protection, and PII handling • Guide the Integration Development Lead and Designer on solution-level decisions and resolve cross-team design conflicts • Interface with client enterprise architecture, Red Hat account/solution architects, and Microsoft Azure architects • Produce context diagrams, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, and capacity/sizing models

🎯 Requirements

• Reliability security clearance in place and eligibility for Secret clearance • 8+ years in integration/enterprise architecture • At least 3–4 years designing hybrid on-premises and cloud integration platforms • Deep hands-on and architectural experience with Apache Camel, Red Hat Fuse/AMQ, and Spring Boot microservices • Strong working knowledge of Kafka architecture, including topics, partitions, consumer groups, schema registry, and exactly-once semantics • Experience designing API management strategies on 3Scale or equivalent platforms such as Apigee, Mulesoft, Kong, or Azure APIM • Solid understanding of Azure integration services, including Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid, and Event Hub • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Dynamics 365 integration patterns, including Dataverse events, virtual entities, and connectors • Proven track record producing architecture governance artifacts, including ADRs, design standards, and NFR frameworks • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills across client, delivery, and platform vendor teams
