📋 Description

• Lead the technical direction for the mobile development strategy and patient-facing apps • Rapidly prototype and ship features in patient mobile and web apps alongside design and product • Use AI tools to move quickly and test ideas that improve engagement and retention • Help steer product direction for supporting and retaining patients during their critical first month • Talk directly to patients and partner with product, design, and clinical teams to turn needs into features • Mentor and grow junior engineers • Set technical standards, architecture patterns, and development practices for patient-facing products • Serve as technical lead for patient interactions from enrollment through the care journey

🎯 Requirements

• Deep experience building and shipping consumer or patient-facing products, whether mobile, web, or both • Experience serving as a technical lead on a team, setting architecture direction and mentoring other engineers • Strong opinions, loosely held, about how to build great user experiences • Comfortable working across the full stack and moving quickly in a startup environment • Keeping up with trends in LLM coding agents • Enjoy collaborating closely with product and design • Experience with React Native or cross-platform mobile frameworks is especially valued • Experience building products in healthcare, wellness, or other high-trust consumer domains is especially valued • Experience with engagement, retention, or onboarding flows and understanding what makes users stick around is especially valued • Prior experience with AI/ML or building agent-based systems is especially valued • Open to candidates located in the continental US
