📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure using automation tools and infrastructure-as-code principles • Build and improve robust CI/CD pipelines for low-friction, high-confidence releases • Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance, availability, reliability, and security • Proactively identify and mitigate potential issues before they impact users • Participate in incident response efforts and training • Resolve incidents promptly and conduct post-mortem root-cause analysis • Define and enforce SLAs for availability, performance, and security • Forecast capacity requirements and scale infrastructure to meet growing demand • Optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency • Implement security best practices and compliance standards • Drive continuous improvement through new technologies and processes • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, and other cross-functional teams on scalability challenges and development lifecycle bottlenecks

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field • 4–6+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a similar role • Strong scripting and programming skills • Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS • Hands-on experience with Terraform/OpenTofu for infrastructure provisioning and management • Experience working in Windows and Linux environments • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization and orchestration technologies • Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar monitoring and observability tools • Canadian-based candidate • Preference for applicants legally authorized to work in Canada
