📋 Description

• Lead quality efforts for products supporting healthcare providers, patient workflows, and diagnostic reporting • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle • Analyze requirements, architecture, interfaces, integrations, and dependencies to develop risk-based test strategies • Define and improve quality standards, testing practices, and processes • Create and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and documentation • Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications, including exploratory, functional, acceptance, regression, end-to-end, and UI testing • Advance test automation standards and coverage • Test REST APIs and backend services for correctness, reliability, and resilience • Identify, prioritize, document, and track defects and quality risks through resolution • Lead root cause analysis and prevent defect recurrence • Communicate test strategy, quality risks, release readiness, and tradeoffs to stakeholders • Drive systemic quality and process improvements through completion • Mentor engineers and team members on quality practices • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines • Evaluate applications against accessibility requirements including WCAG • Contribute to performance and security testing based on product risk and team needs

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software quality assurance experience • Demonstrated success leading quality initiatives across cross-functional and partner teams • Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and risk-based testing for complex systems • Strong understanding of web and mobile technologies, client-server architecture, APIs, integrations, and system dependencies • Hands-on experience testing native or cross-platform mobile applications on iOS and Android across devices, operating-system versions, screen sizes, and network conditions • Hands-on experience testing REST APIs and backend services • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java • Experience developing or improving test automation frameworks, standards, coverage, reliability, and maintainability • Experience using modern web or mobile automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows • Knowledge of accessibility testing and standards such as WCAG, with experience using Axe, Lighthouse, or screen readers • Experience with defect tracking and test-management tools, such as Jira, in an Agile development environment • Strong analytical and communication skills • Record of driving cross-functional quality or process improvements through completion • Experience mentoring technical and non-technical colleagues and building quality capability across teams • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience • Legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of hire without current or future employer visa sponsorship • Successful completion of a background check
