• Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned Epic System software • Communicate with Epic, Subject Matter Experts, and end users to tailor the system to organizational needs • Analyze workflows, data collection, and technical issues associated with Epic software • Design, build, test, and maintain Epic solutions • Provide tier-2 support for application incidents • Analyze and resolve incidents, maintenance items, enhancement requests, upgrades, updates, and projects • Develop and maintain requirements, specifications, and test cases • Create, review, and update test scripts • Modify Epic records, tables, and master files • Implement changes using documented, policy-compliant procedures • Participate in team and cross-team meetings and maintain meeting records • Make recommendations and review and test changes, enhancements, and releases • Support the training team by communicating new functionality and system changes • Create workflows and productivity solutions with SME collaboration • Mentor and teach analysts and guide team members across teams • Troubleshoot issues outside the supported application • Create and deliver presentations to large cross-functional groups • Analyze new release functionality and identify impacts • Ensure quality assurance, change management, and testing processes are followed • Facilitate meetings, drive next steps, and provide notes and follow-up • Lead change management and gain stakeholder adoption • Identify and implement process improvements across teams and areas • Proactively recommend operational solutions • Build and maintain relationships with other Epic customers • Assist with strategy development • Support project scoping and timeline assessment with leadership
• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of IT or business experience • 3 years of Epic specific experience • 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree • Epic certified in supporting application • Additional proficiency/certification/badges in related application area • Expert understanding of supported Epic application • Understanding of workflows, application integration, downstream systems, and integrated workflows • Ability to work independently 100% of the time • Ability to provide 24/7 on-call coverage as required
