📋 Description

• Lead the Value Analysis process for assigned VATs by identifying savings opportunities, managing expiring contracts, and addressing new supplies and services requests and process changes • Oversee implementation of approved opportunities using the VAT Decision/Implementation Checklist • Lead pursuit activities including pricing improvement, supply standardization, supplier consolidation, contractual language and performance standards, utilization, inventory, processes, and outcomes • Develop and issue RFPs; analyze responses, benchmark pricing, coordinate trials and reference checks, and develop negotiation strategies • Support VAT Chairs with meetings, member engagement, initiative prioritization, assignments, minutes, follow-up, and communications • Identify and document opportunities using VAT tools and methodologies • Manage and maintain the Opportunity Tracking Report for VASC reporting and annual budget preparation • Conduct preliminary analyses, validate assumptions, determine risks, quantify opportunity value, and recommend pursuit strategies • Establish baselines, research markets and suppliers, identify stakeholders and alternatives, and prepare Initiative Approval Worksheets • Present analysis and pursuit results to VATs and lead decision-making, negotiation, contract development, review, and approval processes • Ensure completion and presentation of all VAT process phases and supporting documentation for final approval • Monitor savings, customer satisfaction, performance standards, contractual compliance, and quality outcomes • Optimize Lawson and available technologies • Support Supply Chain Formulary enforcement and address back-orders, stock-outs, substitutes, trials, conversions, and recalls • Support supplier accountability and education and communications plans • Recommend operational improvements to Director, Supply Chain Logistics and VP, Supply Chain

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor degree required; 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree • 5 years experience in healthcare supply chain information or industry related supply chain information experience • Related fields may include Business Manager, Legal, Purchasing, Contracting, Accounting, Business Management, Population Health, Project Management, Business Analytics • Compliance with all Federal and State healthcare regulations, TJC standards, and PHS Policies and Procedures
