📋 Description

• Analyze workflows, data collection, report details, and technical issues associated with Epic software • Recommend, design, develop, configure, implement, and support assigned Epic applications • Translate department requirements into business functional requirements • Build and maintain Epic application content according to functional specifications • Perform unit testing and hand off builds for functional or integrated testing • Document and report system issues through the internal chain of command and communicate with vendors when appropriate • Populate databases during initial system builds with assistance from Epic • Collect enhancement and functionality needs and prepare specifications • Analyze data conversion needs and verify interface data meets business requirements • Develop and document project team procedures and establish change-control processes • Participate in training development and deliver training to end users • Troubleshoot end-user problems and investigate questions • Work with report writers to ensure required reports are available • Prioritize and implement system changes and analyze new release functionality • Communicate with Epic representatives and the end-user community to ensure the system meets organizational needs • Provide end-user support during implementation and serve as an application expert during rollouts • Identify, communicate, and resolve system issues to maximize system potential • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Services, health administration, business administration, health sciences, or related field • Two years of Epic or integrated EMR experience • Alternatively, an Associate degree in Computer Science or related field and four years of related Information Technology experience may be considered • Alternatively, a High School Diploma or equivalent and seven years of related Information Technology experience may be considered • Alternatively, one year of Epic build and/or support experience may be considered • Epic Module Certification as required by the position • CPHIMS preferred • Presentation skills • Communication skills • Interpersonal skills • Ability to multitask
