📋 Description

• Run day-to-day close activities across entities, including reconciliations, journals, and schedules • Prepare entity-level and consolidated financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, for review • Maintain intercompany accounts, eliminations, and reconciliations • Handle B2B accounting entries, revenue, fees, settlements, and client balances • Track client balances, commissions, and partner-related transactions • Collaborate with Settlement, Assurance, and Operations teams • Convert complex, high-volume B2B flows into clean, auditable entries • Support and maintain controls across AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations • Apply appropriate accounting treatment for crypto-related transactions, including valuation, fees, and taxes • Maintain practical, current, audit-ready documentation • Support audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting across jurisdictions • Support budgeting and forecasting with reliable entity-level data • Identify and flag issues and risks early • Report to the CFO and work with Finance, Settlement, and Assurance teams

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on financial accounting experience • Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or CPA; qualified or well on the way • Strong grounding in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close • Working knowledge of IFRS • Experience in a high-volume environment where money genuinely moves, such as fintech, banking, microfinance, manufacturing, FMCG, or a busy accounting firm • Sharp attention to detail and ability to catch errors before submission • Comfortable working in well-built spreadsheets • Dependable and organised, with ability to own work independently • Experience accounting for crypto assets or exchanges is nice to have • Familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar is nice to have • Exposure to multi-entity or multi-jurisdiction environments is nice to have
