📋 Description

• Handle escalated user inquiries involving disputes, platform integrity, and compliance issues • Investigate and resolve complex user disputes in accordance with Riipen’s policies • Oversee ID verification processes and user authentication • Collaborate with customer success, legal, operations, and finance teams • Own payment disputes by investigating claims, gathering evidence, and determining resolutions • Manage escalated payments requiring additional verification or review • Document and resolve payment escalations within SLA • Coordinate payments and refunds when necessary • Render and transparently communicate decisions on escalated cases • Maintain dispute, resolution, and compliance records for audit readiness and internal reporting • Stay current on compliance regulations, risk management practices, and platform policies • Improve compliance workflows, dispute resolution, and payment verification procedures • Identify escalation trends and recommend fraud prevention, risk management, and platform integrity improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Some experience in compliance, risk management, policy enforcement, fraud prevention, investigations, or a related field • Strong critical thinking and investigative skills • Ability to recognize inconsistencies, ask thoughtful questions, and investigate deeply • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify patterns and make evidence-based decisions • Strong organizational and prioritization skills • Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures, or contractual requirements • Strong written communication and documentation skills • Comfort working with data, reviewing records, and navigating multiple systems • Ability to work independently and recognize when escalation is needed • Experience in financial services, legal compliance, policy administration, SaaS, or technology-driven environments (bonus) • Familiarity with identity verification, KYC, KYB, or fraud detection and prevention (bonus) • Experience with Persona or similar identity verification platforms (bonus) • Familiarity with SQL, database structures, or raw data analysis (bonus) • Experience with Metabase, HubSpot, Jira, or similar platforms (bonus) • Experience supporting payment disputes, transaction reviews, or financial-transaction compliance activities (bonus)
