📋 Description

• Create images and sequences supporting visual direction, pitches, previs, IP development, and final broadcast shots • Build and maintain ComfyUI workflows combining multiple models for individual shots • Train LoRAs on image and video models and prepare balanced datasets • Test and evaluate new models based on quality, control, turnaround time, and cost • Deliver professional-quality visuals aligned with studio standards • Generate visual directions, lookframes, key visuals, animatics, and final shots • Explore cinematic framing, lens choice, lighting, camera movement, and editing rhythm • Maintain consistency of characters, products, and visual worlds across shots • Save workflows, document model versions, and ensure reproducible results • Deliver outputs suitable for compositing, 3D, and finishing teams with appropriate color space, resolution, frame rate, and passes • Use live-action plates, on-set capture, or mocap data to guide generation • Explore Gaussian Splatting and image-to-3D for environments and previs • Track credit and compute usage and report as needed • Collaborate with art directors, supervisors, producers, and artists across departments • Explain AI capabilities, limitations, and costs to producers and clients • Respect copyright, likeness consent requirements, and commercial licensing terms • Protect confidential client materials and use only studio-approved platforms • Stay current with image, video, 3D, and audio models • Document methods and contribute to the internal library of workflows, LoRAs, style references, and test results • Train artists from other departments and contribute to Rodeo FX’s collaborative AI culture

🎯 Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating strong taste and visual judgment, including composition, lighting, style, and storytelling • Artistic background in illustration, photography, concept art, compositing, motion design, cinematography, or a related discipline • Strong proficiency with ComfyUI and ability to build custom workflows and graphs • Experience training LoRAs and preparing datasets • Proficiency with at least two video-generation models and several image-generation models • Strong understanding of generative model strengths and limitations • Understanding of VFX workflows and advertising production constraints, including tight deadlines, feedback rounds, version management, and budgets • Proficiency in Photoshop required • Foundational compositing skills strongly preferred • Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written • Knowledge of Python, Nuke, Houdini, Blender, or Unreal Engine is an asset • Experience developing custom ComfyUI nodes or contributing to open-source projects is an asset • Experience delivering advertising or post-production work is an asset • Knowledge of on-set capture techniques used to support generative workflows is an asset
