📋 Description

• Lead and grow the Foundations engineering team from 7 to 12 engineers and beyond • Hire and develop exceptional talent while maintaining high technical and cultural standards • Establish leveling paths and growth plans and address underperformance • Build a high-trust, high-standards engineering culture • Drive quarterly goals, milestones, predictable delivery timelines, and accountability • Guide architectural direction for platform and infrastructure initiatives • Shape the roadmap around resiliency, scalability, and efficiency • Own on-call and incident response discipline • Improve platform resiliency • Oversee deployment and release management • Partner with engineering and product leadership on platform strategy • Drive adoption of agentic engineering practices across the team

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing platform, infrastructure, or foundational engineering teams in high-growth environments • Deep technical fluency across cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS • Experience with Kubernetes • Experience with infrastructure-as-code • Experience with CI/CD • Experience with observability • Strong software engineering background • Proficiency in Go, Python, TypeScript, or Ruby • Experience operating SQL and RDBMS in production at scale, preferably PostgreSQL • Track record of operational excellence, including building on-call programs, driving incident response discipline, and owning deployment and release management • Proficiency in agentic, AI-assisted development practices • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work in the United States locations specified for this role
