📋 Description

• Manage patient enrollment, reimbursement processes, and service coordination • Provide drug coverage support to physicians and patients • Follow up on private and provincial drug-plan coverage submissions • Ensure timely access to prescribed treatments • Collaborate with patients, insurers, physicians, and employers on reimbursement documentation • Investigate public and private insurers and support employer escalations • Review patient charts, previous therapies, and tests to support coverage documentation • Provide therapy guidelines and program education • Conduct patient financial eligibility assessments • Coordinate and track patient services • Report Adverse Events and Severe Adverse Events according to approved SOPs • Maintain case-management service levels and established KPIs • Update patient and clinic information in the CRM system • Collaborate with internal patient support teams • Provide feedback to the Program Manager on service quality, training, and customer feedback • Identify coverage obstacles and escalate them to the Program Manager or Assistant Program Manager • Complete timesheets, expenses, mileage, CRM reports, and other required reports • Perform additional duties as requested by the Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Post-secondary education • Minimum of 2 years of experience in health care • 1–2 years of experience in Patient Support Programs is an asset • Experience with reimbursement billing, special access, appeals process, and field-based reimbursement support and consultation is an asset • Knowledge of private and public reimbursement structures, systems, and processes is an asset • Oncology experience is an asset • Must be able to work from home with a quiet, private home office space • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Strong analytical skills, including interpretation of regulations and legislation • Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills • Effective interpersonal skills • Typing skills and ability to be a strong functional user of various computer-based programs • Ability to work Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 8:00pm EST on rotating 8-hour shifts
